A HAPPY VALLEY EARLY SPRING WANDER
Not ascending Pendle but were making a big nostaligic loop of the area visiting many of the valleys & woodlands in this lovely place. I’ve grown up with so many stories, family memories of the place, with a Grandmother obsessed with the area, parents who had their first date in Roughlee and wanted it as their last resting place. For me every view, direction I look holds a happy memory. I hope the walk makes some happy memories for you.
Dress for the weather. Wear boots or comfortable walking shoes. Bring water, a drink and a snack. We’ll be calling at Noggarth Cafe for or a drink and a bite if you want one?
