CLASSIC YORKSHIRE DALES

A lovely Easy Paced Wellness walk from the delightful village of Buckden in the Yorkshire Dales. After a short but steep ascent to Cray (we’ll take it easy) we follow a promenade path, with gorgeous views, to the remote hamlet of Yockenthwaite. Made famous in the latest TV series of All Creatures Great & Small as the home of James Herriots wife Helen & her family. We return along the beautiful River Wharfe, visiting Hubberholme & its famous Church with its furniture by Mouseman & where James & Helen were married in the TV Series.
8mls 250m ascent.
Dress for the weather, but bring hat/gloves, spare fleece, Bring water, some lunch, waterproofs just in case, sunlotion.
