Darwen Moorland wander 7 miles

A 7 mile moorland walk, on paths less trodden over to Darwen Tower. Familiar spots such as Hollinshead Hall will be visited before we take paths out over Cartidge Hill, past old mine workings,( not much to see, don't get excited ) and over White Hill before joining the "main paths" to The Tower. We head back to Tockholes via fields and Ryal Fold. Hopefully there will be lots of nesting birds at this time. Dogs on leads.
A moorland walk, so come prepared, boggy, tussocks etc.
Dress for the weather, bring drinks and snacks.
If bad weather on day, we will do an alternative lower walk
