Walk Reccy to Duck Pond Farm Statues

Another walk reccy on some "new to me paths" to visit the Duck Pond Farm Statues on the hills above Barnoldswick. Approx 5 and a half miles. Meet at Leitcliffe Country Park - see photos. We will take Lister Well Road and the Pennine Bridleway over White Moor to join Gisburn Old Road. Then following the Pendle Way for a short time, leaving it at Star Hall to tkae paths over the moors we will arrive at Duck Pond Farm with its iconic large statures - make by a former sculptor resident. An interesting sight if you have never seen them before. Then returning to cars via Folly Lane. At the moment the weather looks OK for a moorland walk.
Dress for the weather, bring extra layers and waterproofs
Bring drink and lunch.
Non yappy dogs allowed, on lead at all-times. Max 3 dogs per walk and only 1 dog pp
