STOODLEY PIKE & ENGLANDS HIGHEST BEACH
A 7 mile walk from The Top Brink, Lumbutts, Nr MANKINHOLES.
Should be a lovely summers walk. After an easy paced climb to Stoodley Pike via Mankinholes we can ascend the monument via its spiral staircase & enjoy 360deg views on a clear day.
Traversing the gentle ridge we may descend to visit the Te Deum Stone before returning to continue our journey to what’s understood to be Englands Highest Beach, at Gaddings Dam.
Continuing from here we eventually arrive back at The Top Brink Inn, where all manner of refreshments are available.
Dress for the weather. Bring waterproofs, spare clothing, hat, gloves, sun lotion, plenty of water, food. Wear boots with a good grip.
Dogs: OK but please no Yappy Dogs & limited to 1pp with a maximum of 3 for the group.
Must remain on a lead.
