Hollingworth Lake to Blackstone Edge

9.5 miles with 460m of accumulated ascent
We will set off from Hollingworth Lake Country park, alongside Hollingworth Lake, gradually finding our way up to Windy Hill (and yes it is!). We will cross over the M62 via a footbridge and reach Blackstone Edge on the other side via the Pennine Way, where we will hopefully have far reaching views if we get lucky with the weather. We will head back via the Roman Road to the Country Park and have tea / coffee / cake for those that wish to afterwards.

Meeting Point - outside the Cafe in Hollingworth Lake Country Park car park (you will drive past it on the way in). Toilets by the cafe at the start of the walk.
