We’ll be visiting the remarkable Hoffman Kiln on our walk, & Exploring inside. Bring a torch!

October is usually the best time to see the Salmon Leaping Stainforth Foss🤞so let’s keep our fingers crossed.😊 We’ve seen lots over the years but Last Year wasn’t as good.
After lunch there’s an easy return to Settle & maybe a late pub lunch?

Dogs: I’d suggest not bringing them if they are boisterous, and on safety grounds Id ask that you keep them away from the falls on a short lead. I hope this doesnt inconvenience anyone, but it seems quite a few have been lost in the Foss.
October so dress for the weather and bring waterproofs & spare warm clothing, hat, gloves a picnic lunch and a drink.

Plenty of parking in Settle, but arrive early & share cars where possible.
