One of our BEST fly fishing get together of the year. With nearly a dozen free classes starting at 9AM to 4PM for beginners to the most advanced in the NW. Learn a lot more about fly fishing rods, lines, gear, and terms. Learn all about the 101 fly choices. Learn which 101 Nymphs styles and Dry Flies everyone always needs.

Join us for FREE lunch at noon-ish for those that bring any kind of fly rod and chair!!

Always feel free to bring donations and something, anything to share, especially cookies

Come make another fishing friend or two while learning a thing or two about NW fly fishing.

Meetup @ Behind the Renton Community Center, nearest the Cedar river and 405 Fwy. Look for our red sign on the grass.

FYI, things you must bring for the 4:00PM Talk Walk and Wade

  1. Fishing License and Discover Pass
  2. Any kind of fly rod
  3. Waders with Felt Boots Recommended
  4. Water and snacks
  5. Eye protection like sunglasses.
  6. Barbless Flies Only (see photo for recommendations).

Most of all, learn how to go from never casting fly rod to casting like a pro.

Learn how to cast from award winning casters.

All local fly shops have experts to help you as well, especially picking out flies and gear. But you can always get started with a $50 fly rod combo kit at Walmart.
