It's the rainy season, yes, but that also means some great waterfalls are out there to explore. This little-known one that's in the Cascade foothills in eastern Snohomish is a peaceful, gentle walk on state DNR land through second-growth forests. Very little elevation gain to get you warmed up, and with all the rain we’ve had, the falls will be a pretty sight.
Hiked it last year, pretty much hidden, a nice surprise on a country walk.
