Due to the lack of snow on Nason Ridge this hike has now been switched to the Lime Kiln trail near Granite Falls. This snow free trail travels through the forest to the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River which it follows for a couple of miles to the end of the trail at a bend in the river. Recent trip reports indicate that there’s some water on the trail in places and that there are a number of trees across the trail although all can be navigated without too much trouble.

Plan to meet at the Lime Kiln trailhead at the end of Waite Mill Road a couple miles east of Granite Falls at 10:00 AM and head out when we’re all ready.

-Distance: 7.0 miles
-Elevation Gain: 625 feet
-Pass required: None required
-WTA link: https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/lime-kiln
-Trailhead privy: Unlikely. WTA claims a seasonal porta potty but a March 8 trip report said it wasn’t there at that time.

Note: If you were signed up for the Nason Ridge hike your name has automatically been transferred to the hike at this location. If this doesn’t work for you please update your RSVP.
