Lake Valhalla

Lake Valhalla is a fairly gentle hike tucked under Lichtenberg Mountain and Mount McCausland on the PCT North of Stevens Pass. A great day hike in the summer. 11 miles roundtrip with 1860 feet elevation gain. The highest point is 5,050 feet. We will hike from the Stevens Pass trailhead making this a longer hike than from the Smithbrook trailhead. I’m reading reviews that the road at Smithbrook can be challenging right now for low clearance vehicles die to ruts. Not worth getting stuck
Driving Directions: We will start from the Stevens Pass parking lot on the north side of the highway, behind the power station that feeds the ski area.
