Our Q4 Book Club text is Peter Gelderloos' The Solutions are Already Here: Strategies for Ecological Revolution from Below. We live in a world aflame. As the natural world burns around us, so too are our social worlds engulfed in the conflagration of Fossil Capitalism. We know this in our bones, and yet... And yet the flames still rise! No--and yet the Solutions are Already Here! To recognize them, we must look past the false promises of Green Capitalism and learn from our diverse yet interdependent struggles for human liberation. We must supplement our physical technologies with social technologies born out of indigenous and anarchic resistance. Above all, we must act up, act out, and act now! Solidarity forever! All power to all the people!

Your host, Thomas (they/he) is a big nerd at heart. They went to school for philosophy, are currently in training to be a mental health counselor, and one year into their heavy metal phase. He's looking forward to sharing interests and learning with y'all.
