Sheet Mulching Work Days at The Edge of Liberty!

Sheet mulching is our favorite way to turn lawn into a garden bed & now is the perfect time to get your beds started for the season. Join Dan Waters at his garden site at The Edge of Liberty to learn Toby Hemenway's "Bomb-Proof Sheet Mulching" method!

This is a hands-on learning and work day! Wear weather appropriate clothing, work shoes, and work gloves. Bring a digging fork if you have one. There is plenty of parking at The Edge of Liberty, which is on the west side of Calumet just north of 600N. If this is your first event, please DM Co-Organizer Hillary Miles to introduce yourself :)

Dan Waters completed his Permaculture Design Course in 2017 and has been studying soil microbiology at the Soil Foodweb school for the last 2 years.
