Dinner and Live Music by Janelle Loes at the Turquoise Wine Cellar

Time for good food, live music by Janelle Loes and enjoy a nice refreshing glass of wine with many choices available at the Turquoise Wine Cellar, 8160 W Union Hills Rd, on Saturday, May 31st at 4;30 PM. Janelle starts playing at 5:00.

Janelle Loes is an award-winning singer/songwriter who knows how to spin a song and mesmerize an audience. Her distinctive style fuses elements of jazz, pop, and contemporary music, while her sultry melodic voice and narrative style speak to the heart.
Listeners are continually drawn in by Loes' remarkable talent as both a songwriter and a performer. Her original songs are crafted orchestrations driven by their sweet sincerity and honest lyrics. Poetic, bold, and convincing, her songs seek definition from life as they carve their own path, make their own rules, and delve deep to carefully unearth the light in dark times.
An accomplished finger-style guitarist, pianist, and vocalist, Janelle captivates audiences with her rich versatility, evocative sound, and charming presence. She was the winner of the 2016 Tucson Folk Festival Songwriting Competition, Top-Ten Winner of the 2017 Rocky Mountain Songwriting Competition, and Winner of the 2010 Chicks with Picks Songwriting Competition.
Her music has received international acclaim, and has been featured in numerous films and TV shows including the Polish Soap opera "Julia", the Spanish film "Una Pistola en Cada Mano", and the Austrian Documentary "Somewhere Else Tomorrow”. Her jazzy rendition of I’ll Be Home for Christmas was featured in AZ Family’s ‘Arizona Highways’ Christmas Special and her song “Afterthought” was also included in the Spanish release Cappuccino Volume 7; alongside tracks from Sia, Feist, and Norah Jones.
Loes' has also lent her vocal stylings to an array of musical collaborations and can be heard on Luxxe's ‘Entomologist’, as well as Unbreakable Heart', a duet with singer-songwriter and former Voice Contestant, Blaine Long.
Janelle’s debut album 'Here and Now' can be found on today's leading music outlets including iTunes, Pandora, Spotify, Google Play Music, CD Baby, and Amazon. She currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona where she is busy booking shows and preparing for the release of her second full-length album produced by Grammy-nominated Andy Thompson and Sean Cooney.
