Synopsis
Word has arrived at Hawk’s Roost of something interesting happening in Korvosa’s bay. Being the lifeblood that keeps commerce going, the docks are a daily hive of activity, and disputes and shady dealings are fairly commonplace and below notice, so it takes something truly interesting to draw attention down that way. But when a ship - The Barnacle’s Bottom - drifted into the bay without signaling that they wanted to dock and negotiate trades, land-side hands became suspicious. A small crew took a rowboat out to the ship, and upon closer inspection found that it seemed to have been recently raised from a watery grave, and none of the crew were brave enough to actually board the vessel.
Being familiar with ships and the docks, Tollin is intrigued and decides to go check out the situation himself. Of course, those hanging around Hawk’s Roost who might be bored are welcome to come along - after all, what could go wrong with a ghost ship in Conqueror’s Bay?
