Algorithmic Trading Strategies for Different Asset Classes by Kory Hoang

Overview: Kory will share some of his algorithmic trading strategies for ETFs and cryptocurrencies along with Pine Script source code for TradingView backtesting. The strategies are for $SPY (stocks), $TLT (T-bonds), $USO (oil), $GLD (gold), $VIXY (volatility), $SVXY (inverse volatility), $BTC (Bitcoin), $ETH (Ethereum).

Bio:
Kory Hoang is the CEO and co-founder of Stably, a Seattle FinTech providing Stablecoin-as-a-Service and fiat on/off-ramp infrastructure for Web3 clients such as Ripple, Stellar, and VeChain. Prior to Stably, Kory worked as a data analyst at PitchBook’s private equity department. Kory is also a “garage quant” trader on the side since 2015. He specializes in developing systematic momentum and mean-reversion strategies across different asset classes, including equities, commodities, volatility, and cryptocurrencies. Kory holds a BBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Washington Bothell, class of 2014.

Every trade's success is determined by its points of entry and exit as well as the events that transpire in between. Gaining an understanding of the entire trade life cycle, including the mechanics and mental processes involved in each stage, could assist investors in achieving their trading and investing objectives more thoroughly.
Suri Duddella will explore a few popular pre-trade, entry and exit strategies, holding times, tracking and monitoring processes and their efficiencies.

Suri Duddella has been a private trader for the past 28 years, trading U.S. Equities, Options, and Futures using Algorithmic Trading, focusing on Automated Chart Patterns and market Context. His research has been reviewed and featured in Forbes, Barron’s, Modern Trader, Active Trader,
Stocks and Commodities, TRADERS’ magazine, and various other media. Suri Duddella authored and published a book. “Trade Chart Patterns Like The Pros” and currently publishes a weekly magazine "Chart Patterns & Algo. Trader."
