Firelane 2, Koenig, & Cleator (Trail run in Forest Park)

Distance: 6.5 mile trail run
Gain: 1,006 feet
Start: Firelane 2 Trailhead
After: Skyline Restaurant

This lollipop loop trail run starts at Firelane 2, drops down to Wildwood and includes Koenig and Cleator trails - both short but mighty! The route has some fun rolling sections and the Firelane 2 climb at the end will work up your appetite.

Route turn-by-turn:
• Start down Firelane 2 (watch your head) | .5 miles
• Left on Wildwood | 2.8 miles
• Right down Cleator | .2 miles
• Right on Leif | .8 miles
• Right up Koenig | .2 miles
• Left on Wildwood | 1.5 miles
• Right up Firelane 2 | .5 miles

Carpooling to this run is encouraged since there are limited spaces at the trailhead. There is additional parking in the neighborhood on NW Chapin Drive that is just down the road, west of the trailhead. A footpath on the side of the road will take you to the trailhead.
