Join us on Sunday, February 22nd @ 9am at Moulton Falls (again...NOT Multnomah Falls!) for a festively chilly good time! We will attempt to meet at the main bathroom/restroom, which is located about near both parking areas (in the middle). There are two parking areas, the lower (main) parking, and an overflow upper parking (about .25 miles past the lower). Take the trails leading from either to reach the main restroom (brick building, close to road).

This run will feature a little bit of everything. We'll start on the Moulton Falls trail, run about .5 miles, then head straight up the Bells Mtn Trail (on Bells Mtn). This trail could be taken all the way to the Larch Mtn (WA)/Silver Star Mtn area, but we will only be on it for several miles up and down. We'll cut across the mountain on the North Slope Trail, eventually connecting with the forest roads, which will take us up to the top of Bell's Mtn. From the top, we'll connect with a series of trails and roads, eventually ending up on the Sword Fern Way Trail, back to the Bells Mtn Trail for a steep descent back down to the Moulton Falls Trail/area. About half of the run will be on singletrack, and the other half on service/forest roads. This is an active logging area, so there will be some cut/cleared areas that we go through as well.

Potential for several inches of snow up higher, so please be prepared for wintery conditions (running with a sled for the descent is an option;-). If time allows, we can also check out Big Tree Falls (very close by). Afterwards, we'll cruise into Battle Ground to Everybody's Brewing (formerly Northwoods).
