Marquam Trail to Council Crest Viewpoint (Trail Run in Marquam Nature Park)

Gain: 1200 feet
Start: Marquam Trail @Terwilliger
After: JoLa. Coffee-Bar-Kitchen
Let's head up to Council Crest, the highest point in Portland! We will start at the Marquam Trailhead off Terwilliger Blvd, and wind our way up to the toppity top! Hopefully it's clear, but if not, you know, it's Portland! We will then wiggle back down the hill to the car and replenish after with tasty pastries and coffee.
Parking: There are a few spots along Terwiliger, but give yourself extra time and get a bonus .25 mile on a fun secret trail by parking along SW Hamilton.

Route description:
- Start from Marquam Trailhead off Terwilliger
- Stay on Marquam Trail all the way to Council Crest (3.15 miles from start)
- Back down Marquam
- Right on Towhee Trail (4.77 mile)
- Right on Flicker Trail (5.88 mile)
- Right on Marquam back to the start (6.47 mile)
