UPCOMING HALF MARATHON TRAINING RUN ANYONE?
Join us on Sunday, April 19th @ 10am at the Chehalem Ridge Nature Park Trailhead on the Westside, not too far from town. The relatively new regional Nature Park in the Portland Area, Chehalem Ridge, has great trails, and is a great place to test your half marathon pacing, especially if you are attending the Sisters Country races in May! Smooth buttery trails and lots of distance options.
This run is going to be very runnable, and unlike a few of our past runs, since the elevation is not extreme. But don't let that fool you, the punchy hills and descents will still have your engine revving!
Remember that it is spring, so the weather could be amazing and nasty, all in the same day. Come prepared for heat or rainy conditions.
