UPPER MacLeay Park to Wild Cherry (Trail Run in Forest Park)

Distance: 5 miles
Gain: 800 ft
Start: UPPER Macleay Park
After: Pizza Thief - NW Vaughn

For this trail run we will start at UPPER MacLeay trailhead. This is the spot where Wildwood crosses over Cornell Road. We'll meet at the parking lot there and then have an easy warmup down to the stone house, continuing on Wildwood to our turn around spot at Wild Cherry. On our way back we'll take a detour up Birch, over to and DOWN Holman (therefore "Holman heaven" instead of the opposite!), then back on Wildwood to the start.

• North on Wildwood to Wild Cherry | 2.7 miles
• Turn back on Wildwood to Birch | .4 miles
• Right on Birch | .3 miles
• Left down the road and down Holman | .7 miles
• Right on Wildwood | .9 miles

Afterwards, we’ll head over to Pizza Thief for the post-run fuel up.
