Summer Solstice on BPA Hill (Trail Run in Forest Park)

Distance: 1.9 mile trail run, multiply by the number of hill repeats you choose to do.
Gain: 860 feet for each hill repeat
Start: Lower BPA Trailhead on HWY 30 near Linnton
Come celebrate the first day of summer with a sunrise and a hill repeat or two. Sunrise is at 5:21 a.m. today. But you can come out anytime between 5AM and 8AM, go up the hill (BPA Road Trail), and you will find a little roving hill party in action. If you need motivation other than it's SUMMER SOLSTICE it's also the best sunrise view in town at this time of year.
By the numbers:
Each hill is .9 miles with 860 feet of vert. Then you go back down and do it all again… kinda like life!
