What we’re about
The intention of this group is to provide an open and accepting venue for adult chess players at the beginner to novice levels (for instance, an FIDE Elo rating of less than 1000). If you don't have a rating, there's no problem, since I don't either.
Given the interests of the members, there is also a potential for adding other strategy games to our meetings, such as Go, American Checkers, International Draughts, Stratego, Reversi/Othello, etc.
