Women's Fall Gathering At Miller's Cedar Lodge near the Porkies on Lake Superior

Join fellow Northwoods Adventurer, Terry Simeone and organizer, Darcy Lanz-Sage for a fall trip to Upper Michigan for a stay at Miller's Cedar Lodge (located right on Lake Superior) in Ontonagon, MI ; just 13 miles from the Porupine Mountain Wilderness Area.
As of this posting (September 16), we have 6 committed participants; however, the Lodge can hold 12! So, we are putting this out there to the rest of you women who may be interested in spending some quality time on Lake Superior; in the Porkies; or just getting away for some quiet time!
Terry has secured the Lodge- and at this point the cost is about $68 per person/per night for the 6 of us. The cost per person/per night will decrease as the number of participants goes up. If we get 12 people and still have others who wish to join us, there are smaller cabins available for rent on the property.
Each participant will be responsible for all of their own food, etc. We anticipate planning a potluck type meal for the first evening and possibly going out to a restaurant one evening, but that will depend on the wishes of participants as to whether or not they want to join us for those activities.
The long weekend will be yours to do whatever activities you choose. Bring a book to read; bring a craft to work on; plan your own hike; beach comb along Lake Superior; play games; do a puzzle; - or whatever you wish!
We will have hiking suggestions; may lead a yoga session, a soundbath, and an art activity; but we plan to just "go with the flow", so nothing is set in cement or guaranteed! You will be responsible for your own fun!!!
The cabin has one king bed, 4 queen beds, and 2 futons. There will be plenty of floor space to spread out and sleep on camping pads and sleeping bags; but once we reach 12 participants- that is the limit for the lodge.
If you wish to join us in the Lodge, it is first come-first-served; with a $100 non-refundable deposit to Terry(via Venmo). We have 6 spots left! The remainder of the payment will be due soon (as the date is fast approaching!)
Please do not sign up "As attending", unless you are ready to commit and pay the deposit. Send an email to both Darcy and Terry if you plan to join us and we will then tell you how to pay Terry through Venmo. Your space will be secured once you pay the deposit and get a confirmation email from us. Thanks!
