END-TO-END Bruce Trail
Details
Ready for a real challenge?!!! Here it goes: an End-to-End is the completion of the entire main Bruce Trail (currently 890 km) on foot.
This even will be happening every Sunday with some exceptions during the summer we might take longer overnight trips.
After the completion of each section we will get the Badge from Bruce Trail club of that section! And after the completion of the whole Bruce Trail- we get to be recognized as an official End-to-Ender with the Bruce Trail Conservancy as well as receive END-TO-END BADGE.

Niagara Section
Cover this historic 80 km section of the Bruce Trail, enjoying panoramic views of vineyards, orchards and Lake Ontario. Rocky sections, heavily wooded areas and remnants of historic settlements - the Niagara section has it all.
We will start at 0 km at the Quenston Heights Park, finishing at 18.6 km at Beechwood and Warner Rd.
We will need to have at least 2 vans or few cars(depending on the number of people attending) to park at 0 km and 18.6 km in order to not go back to our cars at 0 km. So, please register your cars at carpool.

Difficulty: Intermediate to Advanced. Hilly sections, slippery terrain.
No kidding and serious hiking attire required: good sturdy hiking boots, wool socks( I recommend Smart Wool Outdoor ones) rain gear, good comfortable backpack, dress in layers etc. ICERS like MICROSPIKES are mandatory.
You can join at any time, but I recommend to start at the beginning of each section and completing it all. If you can not do a particular section, just skip it altogether.
LET'S GET IT DONE!!!
Please attend an information meeting in regards to hiking this trail if you are wondering but not sure. The meetings will be every Wednesday evening in IKEA North York (so we can have a dinner or coffee) from 7-8pm.
