Details

This is the launch of a tech talk community where focus will be experiences from real life. Themes for our tech talks going on forward will be:
Open Source, Computing, Software Engineering, DevOps, Automation, Cloud Native, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Chaos Engineering, Infrastructure as code.

11 May Arne Saether, Head of SRE Storebrand, will talk to us about Storebrands journey of using the cloud and how that impacts SRE department. What they have learning over the last few years.

Arne has been working with Technology and FinTech for more than 25 years, focusing on how technology can help employees to focus on the tasks they were hired to do.
The latest and current chapter of his journey is of course all about migration to the cloud.

Zahra Zavareh, Cloud Architect at Crayon, will present Bymiljøetaten journey of moving from one account in AWS to multi-account under one AWS organization. As a result they have an AWS Landing Zone with core accounts and central solutions including backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, networking, security... She will share some of their challenges and learnings. In this session we will learn how Crayon helped the customer to accelerate this journey using IaC with Terraform.

Zahra is a senior consultant with several years of experience as Cloud Architect, Tech lead and full stack developer. She is currently focusing on AWS cloud and has experience in both migration to cloud and improving existing AWS infrastructures
