Horstead to Wroxham Riverside Walk & Optional Steam Train Return

Join us for a lovely walk through some of Norfolk's most picturesque countryside and riverside scenery.

Distance: Approximately 6 miles (10 km - 12-13.5k steps) from Horstead/Coltishall to Wroxham. Those choosing to walk back after lunch will complete a round trip of approximately 11 miles (18 km - 22-25k steps).

We will meet at The Recruiting Sergeant in Horstead before setting off on a circular walk around Coltishall. From there, we'll follow the waterside paths, enjoying the beautiful views along the River Bure, before continuing towards Wroxham via the Bure Valley Railway route.

Once in Wroxham, we'll stop for lunch and have some time to relax. After lunch, participants can either walk back to Coltishall (making the total distance approximately 11 miles) or take the Bure Valley Railway steam train back at their own expense.

The walk will be at a comfortable pace with plenty of opportunities to chat and enjoy the scenery. Please wear suitable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.

Everyone is welcome including dogs and Children.
