Feminist Book Club - Norwich
Details
This month's book is:
The Mixed-Race Experience: Reflections and Revelations on Multicultural Identity by Naomi Evans and Natalie Evans
If you could recommend one fiction and one nonfiction book for our book club, what would you choose?
Whether you're a rookie reader, avide page turner, daring devotee of audiobooks or however you take in your books, the Intersectional Feminist Book Club is a welcoming space for readers who want to engage with stories, ideas, and voices that lift up narratives that center around equity, justice, and liberation. Our aim is to bring together folx in the community to explore books through an intersectional feminist lens, one that recognizes the interconnectedness of race, gender, class, sexuality, ability, and beyond.
Each month, we gather to discuss works by diverse authors. Everything from thought-provoking perspectives and lived experiences to breathtaking adventures that spark dialogue, reflection, and action. Whether you’re new to intersectionality and feminism or deeply immersed in it, this club offers a supportive environment to learn, question and grow alongside others.
Together, we hope to build community, amplify marginalised voices, and imagine more just futures, one page at a time.
The book club will be hosted at 12pm on the 05/Oct/2025 at:
Alchemista Coffee Potion, 4 St Gregorys Alley, Norwich NR2 1ER
