Netflix Film Club #201: ‘Mystic River' (2003)
Details
This is a Netflix film discussion group that takes place every other Thursday. How it works is we choose a film from Netflix, watch the film beforehand and then meet online to discuss the film.
Our 201st film, chosen by Chris and Sue, is ‘Mystic River’ (2003). Directed by Clint Eastwood and based on the bestselling 2001 novel by Dennis Lehane, it follows three childhood friends (played by Sean Penn, Tim Robbins and Kevin Bacon) who are reunited decades later in connection with a murder investigation.
The link to join online will be posted in the comments section below on the day of the discussion.
Also, we have recently created a watchlist to help with choosing our films. Please feel free to add suggestions using the link below.
