Right then ladies and gents... ROLL-UP ROLL-UP !!!

Join us for a COVID-safe studio shoot in my studio just off the Ipswich Road in Norwich, on Sunday 16th August at 11.30am..

We shall be demonstrating a themed beauty shoot, the theme being 20s flapper...So think Great Gatsby as in the photo above, or Bugsy Malone (without the food fight please!)

I will be joined by a professional Make-Up Artist Lina Hallberg as well as our very own model Vanessa Waller. Both gorgeous ladies willing to share their knowledge of make-up artistry and modelling.

We will cover the basics of studio photography and you will get an opportunity to shoot with the studio lights. You can use your own camera for this is you have a Canon or Sony DSLR camera body. If you own a Nikon camera body, I'm afraid I can't guarantee that my triggers will work. In which case then I can offer you the use of my spare Canon camera which will be cleaned using antiseptic wipes between uses.

There will be a section on capturing Lina our make-up artist at work, and you will have an opportunity to create some close-up shots (using a zoom / telephoto lens for obvious COVID reasons). Ideally with a focal length of between 70mm to 210mm.

When the final look has been created, we will then practice shooting Vanessa using some variations on lighting setups to create mood and drama.

This workshop will be limited to 6 people only. The studio is completely open-air on one side and people are welcome to sit on the patio for the shoot if that feels safer. You won't miss anything but you may get sunburnt so a hat may come in handy!
