Building peer to peer networks with Apache Gossip

Apache Gossip http://gossip.incubator.apache.org/ is a new addition to the Apache Incubator. Gossip provides a solution for a group of computers to discover and form a peer to peer network with no central components. Gossip makes it easy for nodes to join into a network and then exchange data for a variety of purposes including coordination and grid computing.

This talk describes Apache Gossip: what it is, how to get started, how it works internally, and use cases of the software.

We are looking to schedule this meetup in early to mid march, but do not have a specific date and venue yet. Please register if you would like to attend so we can get a ballpark for the venue size.
