What I didn't realize was I was using a Toyota manual to build IKEA furniture... while everyone else had the right instructions.

Then I was diagnosed autistic and gifted, and everything finally made sense.

I wasn't failing.

I was trying to live and build inside systems that were never designed for how my brain and body works.

Difference isn't disorder. It's design.
