January's Topic - Autobiography/Memoirs

Hosted By
Robert B.

Details
For January's meeting we will read and discuss autobiography and/or memoirs - someone who tells their life story, or part of it. A few easy questions will be provided before we meet to elicit discussion.
Below are some recommended readings, but again, you can choose your own as long as it sticks to the topic. I am sure there are many other good ones!
- Speak, Memory - Vladimir Nabokov
- Just Kids - Patti Smith
- River Town: Two Years On The Yangtze - Peter Hessler
- Kitchen Confidential - Anthony Bourdain
- The World Of Yesterday - Stefan Zweig
- Crying In H Mart - Michelle Zauner
- My Family And Other Animals - Gerald Durrell
- Personal Memoirs of U. S. Grant - Ulysses S. Grant
- Good-bye To All That - Robert Graves
- Educated: A Memoir - Tara Westover
If you have any questions, reach out! Happy reading and I look forward to hearing what you have read!
