What we’re about
Not For Vanity is a group for writers. Doesn't matter if you are a beginner or you have an MA in Creative Writing, here whatever is your lever you are more than welcomed! The purpose is to meet regularly, workshop our stories (be them short stories or an entire novel) and help each other to see our work out there, be it published or competition winners. The aim is to offer a friendly environment where no idea is stupid and no comment is made to hurt. We want to grow and learn from each other, not diminish the other person's work. I know that presenting your own work to the public, be it big or small, is terrifying to the point that it makes swallow a handful of glass a better option, but it's also the only step you need to take to move forward. Once you've done that very first time, it will become easier. So why not taking that first step in a friendly space?
