Foreign + Indie Films (mostly)

If you're a Filmaholic with a penchant for Foreign and Indie films, have a generally positive vibe, and play well with others, this group is for you!

MEMBERS MUST HAVE A CLEAR PROFILE PIC OF THEMSELVES - NOT A CELEBRITY, FLOWER OR AVATAR - AND THEIR REAL FIRST NAME.
THIS IS A PRIVATE GROUP.

We'll check out a variety of film genres - mostly Indie and Foreign - and possibly some social & city event outings as well.

Most events will be in Toronto - think TIFF Lightbox, Imagine Cinemas, Revue Cinemas, Cineplex, Film Festivals etc.

NOTE - MEMBER DUES MAY BE INTRODUCED IN THE FUTURE.

I do love horror and comedy, but I'd say I appreciate foreign, indie, and classic films more as a fan, without being serious or snobby about it. My taste in cinema is all over the map. I mean I love Lars von Trier, but I also do low-brow. Dumb and Dumber is one of my fav's, and I firmly believe that There's Something About Mary had an award-worthy, ingenious script

If there's interest, we'll do post-film food and drinks - usually at a bar/pub/restaurant close by - to discuss the film and get to know each other.
