Holiday Happiness with Friends!

It’s that time of year folks! It’s colder, darker longer and people gather to make merry. Member Colleen has opened her lovely home up to us again for festive food, fun and friendship.

Please read this entire description before placing your reservation.

For this year’s party we are catering dinner from Rosati’s and are keeping the price very reasonable at $12 per person. There will be the old holiday gift giving tradition: purchase an item not over $15, wrap it and participate in the white elephant/gift exchange. Participation in this is not mandatory. Bring a gift, take a gift home. Please remember that not everyone celebrates Christmas, so let's keep this to a winter theme.

Additionally we’ll have a jar for monetary donations to be made in the name of our group at a local pet food pantry to keep needy pets fed this winter.

Dinner will be Italian beef, fried chicken, penne pasta, salad, and garlic bread. We’ll also have an assortment of desserts. It is BYOB, alcohol or alcohol free. Dinner will start at 6:30 with the gift exchange after dinner. We will be playing games and participating in just friendly socializing. You just need to bring your beverage of choice, your appetite and some holiday spirit! This is a non-religious gathering with all religions welcome. However political and religious conversation is not welcome.

Now for the fine print… we aren’t posting the address here but you will receive an email a week before the event with the address if you are paid and on the going list. Our host's home is in Highland Park, IL. If you don’t get the email, please contact me via text at 513-410-6376. You can also text me with any questions. Payment for the meal is due at the time of your reservation and unfortunately we aren’t able to provide refunds, so please make sure your plans are firm for this event.
