Noteworthy Connections Side Quest - Beach Day at Corona del Mar

The members of Noteworthy Connections are gathering for another Beach Day at Corona del Mar!

Join us for a relaxing and fun-filled afternoon at Corona del Mar State Beach! We’ll be hanging out from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, but feel free to come and go as you please. The group will meet near The Jetty at 2 PM. We’ll post exact coordinates in the event chat on the day.

This is a casual, laid-back day to enjoy the ocean breeze, soak up the sun, and connect with fellow members. Whether you're into swimming, playing beach games, or just relaxing in the sand, there's something for everyone.

🌴 What to Bring:
Your own food, snacks, and drinks (there are restaurants and cafes nearby if you prefer to buy something) or bring some to share
A beach chair or towel
Sunscreen and a hat
Swimsuit if you’re planning to swim
Layers for the evening — it can get chilly!

🔥 Fire pits are first come, first serve at Corona del Mar, so we’ll aim to grab one if any members would like to bring firewood or charcoal. Not guaranteed.

🅿️🚗Parking Options:
Paid Lot: located at 3001 Ocean Blvd (a 6-minute walk to the Jetty Shack). Rates are $9.40/hour or $35.70 for the full day. Credit cards are accepted.
Free Street Parking: Available in nearby residential areas, spots may be limited.

🚨 Beach Guidelines (Per City & State Rules):
Alcohol is not permitted
Glass containers are prohibited
Dogs are only allowed before 10 AM and after 4:30 PM (on leash)
Fires must be in designated fire rings only
The beach closes at 10 PM sharp
