Bristol to Tintern Abbey Bike Ride:

  1. Meeting point: Downs Bakery Severn Beach
  2. Destination Point : Tintern Abbey

First meet at Downs Bakery for 10.00am, grab a drink and a pastry if you fancy before heading off.
It's an Hour and 15 minutes to get to Tintern but will stop a couple of times on the way for some water and a little rest

When we get there have some food at the cafe then a little walk around to see the castle

We will then head back to the meeting Point.

We can stop at any point if any one needs a break or some water.
All round trip will be 28 miles (2 hour 30 mins) of riding
This is route is moderate.

SAFETY: I advise that you do wear a helmet for your own safety as we will be riding on roads. Please also wear a high vise also to ensure you are visible.

PLEASE BRING:
Water/ Water Bottle
Sensible trainers
High vise
Helmet (your choice)
Waterproofs (weather depending)
Snacks for energy along the way

MAKE SURE: Your bike is fit for perpose, your breaks are in working order and your tires are fully inflated! Around 90-120 psi.
