"The Christophers"

Hej everyone, been a bit absent re hosting but back with one of my very fave actors, Sir Ian McKellen with the very talented Michaela Coel. I kind of fell in love with Sir Ian's work when I first saw him with Dame Judi, in Trevor Nunn's minimal "Macbeth" in the late 70's, (as I began studying Shakespeare), it will always be my fave adaptation. Now, as he has said towards the end of his career, he is very busy, he is still a fab presence in anything. :-)

Please join me to watch this new comic but poignant film, (watch the clip), which looks really good. It starts at 5pm, Saturday May 16th, not long, a bit over 2hrs with the adverts. It is to be in screen 1, hopefully will stay there but book ahead if you have a fave seat. :-) I think it will be popular.

I will be there in the cafe bar as usual by 4.30pm latest to greet and gather. Hopefully we can chat a bit after too, about the film. I will post a table number on the day.
