INTRO TO THE BOOK CLUB
Enjoy reading? Want to share your thoughts about books or just listen to other people’s opinions? Then why not join us, new members are always welcome.

We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30 in The Visitors' Centre function room (or occasionally in the Goldings Room) of The Vat & Fiddle Pub, close to Nottingham train station. Both rooms are through the door to the left of the bar so easy to find, but if in doubt the bar staff will be happy to point you in the right direction.

MEETING STRUCTURE

1. Host Intro & Welcome
2. Round robin of attendees starting with this month's book nominator.
   - Your name.
   - Icebreaker of the month - A book you have read more than once.
   - Your thoughts on the book.
3. Once everybody has had a chance to speak in the round robin we move to an open discussion of the book and related topics.
4. Before 9pm - Host closing.
5. 9pm+ Move to the bar for anybody who wants to stay for a drink and a chat.

ROOM HIRE
The pub charges us £10 a time for room hire so we collect £1 cash per person per session to cover the cost of this. Newbies go free on their first event but otherwise if you turn up we will assume you're happy to chip in.
