Car/Bus Ramble: Ruddington & Rushcliffe Country Park

What we will do: Start walk at 10.45am, 6 miles approx. Please arrive 10 minutes early. Meeting point near the church and the Coop Store in Ruddington. The walk will take us through Rushcliffe Country Park. We will walk in a loop via Bradmore Village. Lunch stop will be at the Cherry Lane Garden Centre near Bradmore Village.

Directions by car: Free Parking off Church Street behind the Coop which is across the road from St Peters Church in Ruddington Village. NG11 6. Directions by bus: Number 10 NCTX bus from Nottingham – bus stop Angel Row A1, to Church Street, Ruddington. Buses every 15 min, journey time about half an hour. Best bus to catch is the 9.45am at Angel Row, arriving at 10.15am at 'The Green' in Ruddington. Get off at the High street shops or on the green & walk to the Church meeting point near the Coop store.

Important to know: There are usually 10-15 people on these walks. A lot of the walkers will be club members and are not on the Meetup website.

What to bring: Please dress appropriately for a country walk. Wear proper walking boots, bring a rucksack with liquid refreshment and some waterproof clothes depending on the weather forecast for the day.
