Car/Bus Ramble: Little John Circular Ramble

What we will do: Arrive by 10.15am for 10.30am start from: The Little John Inn Car Park. Description of walk: 5 miles. This circular walk from the pub takes us northwards and eastwards along Rainworth Water and then goes back to the South eventually turning left at Rickets Lane and the footpath to the right towards Druids Stone, and then the path back to the Inn. Pub Lunch.

Directions by bus: Catch the 141 Stagecoach Bus to Sutton-in-Ashfield, from Nottingham, Stand 9, Victoria Centre Bus Station, leaving at 8.45am, arriving in Ravenshead at about 9.55am. Buses are once an hour.
Important to know: There are usually 10-15 people on these walks. A lot of the walkers will be club members and are not on the Meetup website.

What to bring: Please dress appropriately for a country walk. Wear proper walking boots, bring a rucksack with liquid refreshment and some waterproof clothes depending on the weather forecast for the day.
