Car/Bus Ramble: Radcliffe Cliff Walk Loop to Shelford & back

What we will do: Start time: Arrive by 10.15am for 10.30am. About 5.5 miles. Moderate hike. Good fitness required. Easily-accessible paths. Suitable for all skill levels. Easy walk along cliff path. Interesting church at Shelford. Picnic Lunch: (could eat in Radcliffe Memorial Park on the return journey). Or have lunch at a local pub.

Directions by car: From Nottingham A52, left into Radcliffe-on-Trent. Opposite the church turn left onto Wharf Lane NG12 2AN. Meet and park in the small car park or on the road. What 3 Words = frogs.trade.unit.
Directions by Bus: The Mainline (Trent Barton Green Bus) to Bingham goes through Radcliffe-on-Trent from Friar Lane Stop F2 every ten minutes. The journey takes about half an hour. Get off at Vicarage Lane. Ask the bus driver if you are not sure.

Important to know: There are usually 10-15 people on these walks. A lot of the walkers will be club members and are not on the Meetup website.

What to bring: Please dress appropriately for a country walk. Wear proper walking boots, bring a rucksack with liquid refreshment and some waterproof clothes depending on the weather forecast for the day.
