Car/Bus Ramble: Calverton to Woodborough and back

What we will do: Arrive by 10.15am for 10.30am start.
Description of Walk: Circular walk approx 7.5 miles. Starting from the Admiral Rodney Pub Car Park, Main Street, Calverton, NG146FB. Good views over Calverton & Woodborough through pleasant countryside.
Picnic lunch or possible lunch at a café or the Admiral Rodney at the end in Calverton.

Directions by car: from Nottingham A60 northbound/A614/ right turn B6386 signed Oxton & Southwell/ right turn to Calverton. The Admiral Rodney Pub is on left hand side of Main Street. They may allow us to park in their car park and use their toilet facilities as long as we buy a drink or have lunch there at the end of the walk.
Directions by bus: TrentBarton Calverton Connection every 15 minutes from Upper Parliament Street (Stop 1) journey time approx. 45 mins. There is a bus stop just by the Admiral Rodney in Calverton.

Important to know: There are usually 10-15 people on these walks. A lot of the walkers will be club members and are not on the Meetup website.

What to bring: Please dress appropriately for a country walk. Wear proper walking boots, bring a rucksack with liquid refreshment and some waterproof clothes depending on the weather forecast for the day.
