Humanist Book Club first meeting

The first meeting of the Nottingham Humanist Book club will be an occasion to get to know each other, discuss what humanism means for us, and look forward to our readings in the new year.

We may use some passages from "the little book of humanism" by Alice Roberts and Andrew Copson as starting talking points.
You don't need to have read the book to come to the meeting, you just need to have an interest in humanist values.

Going forward, in the first couple of meetings of 2025 we plan to read these books:
"Humankind" by Rutger Bregman
"Humanly Possible" by Sarah Bakewell
