We'll be kicking off at 18:30GMT for an open networking chat on Zoom, before kicking our talks off at 7PM.

What we'll be doing:

Simon Prickett - Raspberry Pi, Sensors and CrateDB

Simon will be showing us around CrateDB's a SQL database with a focus on time series and analytics but of course we're able to store a variety of data. Simon will be demonstrating different types of sensor sending data to a database from MicroPython along with showing aggregations and dashboards.

Simon Prickett:

Simon Prickett is a senior software developer and technical trainer. He enjoys projects that fuse hardware and software, especially with Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Simon brings experience gained from living and working on three different continents in industries including banking, logistics, IoT and Software as a Service platform development.
