About us
We are a friendly gardening group in Nottingham, aiming to promote organic gardening, sustainable gardening and a more localised food culture.
Would you like to know more about growing your own food? We have a demonstration garden just out the city centre of Nottingham where we show different styles of gardening, from formal beds to a more mixed polyculture.
On most Saturday mornings we have 'work parties' at the garden, where you can learn gardening skills or come along to ask us a few questions. We welcome all ages and beginner to expert gardeners. Come and visit us or get in touch! Whitemoor Allotments, Off Wilkinson Street, Nottingham, NG8 5FJ.
NOGs also runs talks in person about organic gardening and related topics - from January 2025will be at Sherwood United Reform Church Nottingham, monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30pm. For details if not on here please contact us at **contact@nogs.info**.
