We're thrilled to partner with Positively Empowered Kids CIC for this free, empowering creative competition, launching during Children's Mental Health Week 2026 (9–15 February)!

With Jackie Wilson from Positively Empowered Kids joining as judge, your story will be celebrated by experts who truly understand youth voice, resilience, and emotional strength.

Theme: "This Is Me Right Now"
Express whatever feels true today. Joy, challenges, hopes, quiet moments, anything at all. No need to "fix" it. Just be real.

How to enter (Young people in Nottingham, ages 11–18 only):

  • Fiction or non-fiction writing (max 500 words)
  • Hand-drawn or digital drawing (one A4 page)
  • Faceless video or animation (max 60 seconds – no faces shown)

Why enter?

  • Free entry
  • Separate winners in Junior (11–14) and Senior (15–18) groups in all 3 categories
  • Prizes, certificates & recognition
  • Chance for your work to be showcased (with permission) on our website & social media + public voting for audience favourites
  • Safe, supportive space – judged on authenticity, creativity & heart (no technical skill needed!)

Entries open 16 February 2026 (Nottingham half-term start) and close 15 March 2026. Winners announced late April.
