Nottingham Salsa Classes & Group Dancing (Beginners Welcome)

If you’ve always wanted to try Salsa but didn’t know where to start, this class is for you.
Our Monday class is designed especially for complete beginners and people starting from scratch. No experience needed, no partner needed — just turn up and enjoy learning in a friendly, relaxed environment.
Most people come on their own for their first class, so you’ll be in good company.
We focus on:
• Clear step-by-step teaching
• Footwork and partnerwork
• Building confidence at your own pace
After the class, there’s a short mini-social where you can practise what you’ve learned in a relaxed way.

Looking for a fun, social dance night with great energy and a welcoming crowd?
Our Tuesday Cuban Salsa & Rueda night is open to beginners through to more experienced dancers, with multiple class levels running in the same evening.
You can start from scratch in the Beginners Cuban class, then stay on to try more classes, Rueda, and enjoy free social dancing afterwards.
What to expect:
• Friendly atmosphere
• No partner needed
• Structured teaching with room to progress
• Rueda class (group circle dancing – lots of fun)
• Free social dancing after the classes
Most people come on their own — it’s very social and easy to settle in.

This night is for dancers who already have some Salsa experience and want to improve technique, musicality and confidence.

On Wednesdays we focus on:
• Salsa On1 (Crossbody) partnerwork
• Chachacha (open level)
• Mambo / Salsa On2 (intermediate)

Classes include both footwork and partnerwork, with clear explanations and plenty of challenge in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

This is not a beginner class, but you don’t need to be advanced — just comfortable with basic Salsa.

When: Every Wednesday

The night includes:
• Beginners Salsa class (start from scratch)
• A short mini-social to practise
• Level-Up class for those who want more challenge

You can attend just the beginners class, or stay on for both — totally up to you.
