Pub quiz: Borlase Warren

I'd like to introduce this group to the Sir John Borlase Warren pub quiz, which is quieter during the summer holiday period with fewer student teams. It lasts from 8:00 till around 10:30 and we'll be there from half an hour earlier on reserved tables to get ready. Entry is £1 per person and there is no team size limit but 5 or 6 would be reasonable, especially given the size of tables, so if we get enough attendees we will split into two teams. There is a cash jackpot for the winning team and opportunities to win prizes also in extra games (Higher and Lower card game).

The Borlase Warren is good for parking as there is cheap parking on Canning Circus island: approach from the east on Derby Road and turn right onto it. There are a lot of buses that reach nearby from the city centre although it's also not too far to walk for most people. They do do food (see website) in the earlier part of the evening; I'd advise either getting there early or at least ordering before the quiz.
